About iPhone 2.0 Update
Current iPhone users may be feeling a little left out in the rain. In less than a month the new 3G iPhone launches, promising to give the next generation of iPhone customers a great experience, and people who bought the device last year might be feeling jipped out of some really cool features. Never fear, however, as Apple is releasing a 2.0 update for the current iPhone in June. The phone is already capable of internet browsing, youtube viewing, and listening to all kinds of music through the MP3 player, but this new update will allow you to do even more. While it won't be quite as impressive as the 3G iPhone, it certainly dulls the pain a little bit! For starters, your calculator will go from being a simple arithmetic application to having full fledged scientific options. This is great if you use your iPhone as a calculator
There as also going to be a wealth of new professional apps available through the new application store. This should make getting new content for your iPhone quick and easy. It will eliminate a lot of time spent downloading and installing apps, since now you will be able to get them directly from Apple, directly on to your iPhone. There is also going to be growing support for Microsoft applications.
Microsoft server exchange will allow you to get push email, calender info, and contact information from your work server while anywhere. There will also be cool features like powerpoint support, and various other types of Microsoft program support. Mobileme support will allow you to sync your phone and computer so that when you change a calender or update a contact list on one, it will appear on the other, which really is a cool little feature. This should all be available very soon, and will be free. So yes, the 3G iPhone is coming out, and yes, it's better than the original. This is probably disappointing to some standard iPhone users, but you have something to look forward to. Te 2.0 update will do great things for your iPhone this June.
