3G phones are the way of the future. 3G means that the phone can do things better and faster than phones of previous generations. The iPhone is a phone developed by electronics manufacturing giant, Apple. Initially the iPhone was not built as a 3G device, this drew criticism from many consumers and critics, who believed the phone to be too slow when compared with most 3G phones on the market. Apple recently released their 3G version of the iPhone, a new generation of the device that works faster and better and looks sleek as hell.
The initial iPhone was very popular, mostly because it had a large variety of features and a stunningly beautiful interface. Things like browsing YouTube, viewing email, and using Safari were very easy to do, if a little slow. The 3G iPhone has almost all the same features, it is just running on a faster system, 3G vs 2.5G(Edge). One new addition to the phone is the Assisted-GPS system, which allows you to do things like get directions, geocache, and also geotag photos taken with the phone. The all in one gadget is now faster and more refined.

With the iPhone being able to stay upto date with its firmware updates we all get a little excited by apples FW releases. However the 2.0 firmware while boasting the new Appstore was unstable and anoying to say the least and the two updates, 2.0.1 and 2.0.2 labled 'Bug Fixes' were useless, we had almost givin up hope but apple have once again restored our confidence with the release of the 2.1 FW update. AND IT WORKS! You heard me right no more text lag and no more app crashes.

There are hundreds of apps in the appstore with lots of different uses and price tags. Well we have tried almost all the apps currently released and we can report there is no need to part with your hard earned cash. For every paid app on the appstore there is a free alternative and 99% of the time they look and work better. Trust us and search for the free versions you will be glad you did.
